2017 Inauguration

At noon today, Michael R Pence of Indiana was inaugurated to the office of the Vice President of the United States. Vice President Pence put his hand on the Bible open to the same verse as President Reagan, 2 Chronicles 7:14, which reads, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Followed by a beautiful performance from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Donald John Trump of New York was inaugurated to the office of the President of the United States. President Trump stood beside his wife, First Lady Trump, who held the Bible for him as he took oath.

President Trump’s speech was, in my opinion, extremely Presidential. His message from the speech was that now, from this day forward as he said, the government is back into control of the American people. “When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice,” said the President.  President Trump said that he will fight for all of  American people to his last breath. He finished his speech, with his campaign promise, to make America great again.
