It’s time to drop the top and get the flip-flops as summer comes along. Haven’t you ever just wanted to go for a drive in a convertible? I have. There are so many reasons to why someone would want a convertible and reasons to why they wouldn’t. A convertible will cost more than the coupe version. That price generally has to deal with the mechanism to pull down the top well maybe, and also the convertible is heavier generally speaking.
Everybody likes to take the bad news first. Some of these you might not understand and others will be like a breeze. The Chassis Situation. A car loses a major part of its structural support system without a fixed roof. You might hear more Noise. The soft top can still be noisy even with the top up.
