First Win for Cheer

Competition Cheer won their first competition on September 24th at Harrisonburg Blue Streaks. They had one stunt fall which deducted some execution points, but Millbrook still managed to place first out of five teams.

Junior Kamryn Koller stated that the team needs to work on timing as well as, “improving our tumbling and our stunting because we have a hard competition coming up.” Their next competition is against the reigning state champions. The cheer team will work together on what they need to improve, and compete on Wednesday, September 28th. All of Millbrook is wishing them the best of luck and hoping for another win.
