Forensics Update 16/11/16

The Forensics Team met again on Wednesday, November 16. The supervising teachers, English teachers Ms. Hillyer and Ms. Valois, stressed the importance of getting a piece prepared for competition and when you do–get it memorized! The pair also discussed the idea of having meetings dedicated to the individual student. The idea is to have one of the teachers supervise the rest of the students while the other gives personal coaching to the selected student for that week.

A few students have read and picked their pieces. There can only be two students per category and spots are filling. If you want to join the team, talk to Ms. Hillyer or Ms. Valois and come to a meeting soon. They are mostly every week on Wednesdays or Thursdays. There was no meeting this Thursday, November 17.

The first round of competition for the Forensics team is on February 1 at Handley High School.
