“Little Shop of Horrors”

This weekend, Millbrook’s Performing Arts Department held their annual musical. This year they chose to perform the rock musical “Little Shop of Horrors”. “Little Shop of Horrors” is a horror/comedy that takes place in a flower shop in Skid Row, New York. The musical follows the character Seymour (played by Joey Drake) who created a new hybrid plant to attract customers and win over the girl of his dreams, Audrey (played by Madelynn Shores). “Little Shop of Horrors” takes a series of dark, funny and unexpected turns that create a really enjoyable musical.

“Little Shop of Horrors” was executed perfectly; every aspect of the musical was amazing. The acting was very convincing and the singing was really good. Chria Bell, Courtney Sergile, and Claire Cook who played doo-wop did an outstanding job harmonizing with each other. The puppet and the stage design looked really cool.  Overall, it was a enjoyable show and everyone involved with the musical did a killer job.
