Meet Joshua Clearwater, a 14 year old freshman at Millbrook. He has two older sisters and two older half brothers. He lives at home with his mother, father, sisters, and his brother-in-law. He also lives with the family’s six cats, most of them though are his oldest sister’s. Joshua was born in the Fair Fax County Hospital and lived in Mananas until he was 5 or 6, then he moved to Winchester and is currently living there.
Some of Josh’s favorite things are playing instruments, video games, and cats. Although he doesn’t participate in any after school clubs or events he is a part of band, which requires him to sometimes perform outside of school hours. Josh finds that nothing really makes him different than anyone else, but he does have a story from his birth which applies; Josh was born with a collapsed lung and that makes him unique.
Josh doesn’t have any favorite memories, though he cherishes all the experiences he comes across. This sort of goes hand in hand with Josh’s belief that in order to have a good life you need to try. He said in reference to his outlook on life that, “We only get one chance to be alive, and if we screw up that chance, well then there’s no way to go back to it.”
