Meet Timmy Hughes

When walking into Millbrook on his first day of high school, the first thing to pop into Timmy Hughes’ head was “I’m going to love it here.” Continuing on through the first day, Hughes realized high school is “a little crazy.” Even with all the craziness and little to no help from others to help him adjust, Timmy is still enjoying his freshman year.

Hughes is definitely not a fan of the Chromebooks. He doesn’t like how they take up too much space in his backpack. Even though he has only had a few weeks of school, he has already decided that his favorite teacher is Mr. Friend. He likes how nice Mr. Friend is and how easy it is to understand him. Hughes plans on getting involved in high school. He is participating in the Fall Ball Wooden Bat League, then plans to continue playing baseball for the school in the spring.
After high school, Hughes wishes to become a Major League Baseball player. He wants to play for the Baltimore Orioles, but playing for any team would be amazing.
