One of the most influential punk bands of all time, The Misfits, have recently reunited with all of the original members for the first time in 30 years. The Misfits original lineup consists of Glenn Danzig on vocals, Jerry Only on bass, and long time guitar player Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein. Doyle is not the original guitar player, however, he has been in the band since 1980. The band was formed in 1977 in New Jersey and came out with their first full length record in 1983. Songs like “Hybrid Moments,” “Skulls,” and “Last Caress” have kept fans listening for many years.
Since the beginning of September, the band has played a few shows headlining at Riot Fest in Denver, Colorado as well as Chicago, Illinois. Now that Riot Fest has come to an end, fans are wondering what the band’s next move will be. In an interview, Doyle hinted at the fact that if all goes well, fans can expect a U.S. tour and maybe even a world tour.
