Going into this election I was rooting for Bernie Sanders. I am not with any party because there are both pretty bad, but I tend to lean a little more toward the Democrats. Bernie seemed alright out of all my options. There was just something about him that was different, that separated him from the rest of the candidates.
Early on, I had the feeling Hillary was going to receive the presidential nomination and I wasn’t surprised when she did. So ever since the convention, I wasn’t really sure who I would like to become president. I didn’t really like Hillary or Trump that much. They are both awful people. Hillary was tangled up in a bunch of scandals and conspiracies like Benghazi and the 30,000 emails. Trump, on the other hand, was just outright obnoxious, offensive, rude and not presidential whatsoever. It’s safe to say they both have their own flaws.
I was at lost for a while, however, I figured out who I’d like to become president. I chose Hillary by default. I don’t like either of them by any means, but Hillary is more qualified, plain and simple. Running for president is like the ultimate job interview, in my eyes. Hillary at least knows what she’s doing because she has the most experience. Trump has no clue what it takes to be a president. I hate Hillary, but I hate Trump more.
