Come out to Jim Barnett Park on Saturday, November 5th to enjoy pancakes and sausage for the Kiwanis’ annual pancake day. This is the most important day for the Kiwanis Organization to raise money and give it back to the community. This day also raises money for Millbrook’s own Key Club.
It only costs six dollars per person and any donation helps. Key Club President, Mary Sisler stated that, “You get to be involved in the community and this is an easy way to help.” You can even sign up to work the stations if you want to. Junue Hernandez, a first year Key Club member, stated that she is volunteering at Pancake Day “to help out the community, and I might as well go.” The fundraiser is taking place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., so come out and support your community while eating great food.
