Princesses Named in the 90th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival

The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival announced the selection of four young women to represent their schools as princesses for the 2017 festival: Tarian Laurynn Caldwell, Julianne Elizabeth Davis, Maddison Lancaster Dempsey, and Abigail Rose Henderson.

Millbrook’s representative, Julianne Davis is the daughter of Beth Andres and Jeff Davis, both of Winchester. She is the granddaughter of Anna Mae and Tom Andres of North Versailles, PA, and Pat and Bob Davis of North Huntingdon, PA. Julianne is a senior at Millbrook High School. She is the SCA Vice President, the FCCLA President, Senior Class Vice President, Manager of Girls Varsity Basketball and Boys Varsity Baseball. She is also a volunteer at Shenandoah University childcare and dances at Mary White O’Neil Dance Workshops.

The Princesses will accompany Queen Shenandoah XC and her Court to all festival functions throughout the 90th Festival schedule for April 28 through May 7, 2017. They will participate in the Coronation Ceremony to be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at John Handley High School. They will ride in the Royal Float in the Grand Feature Parade scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017.
