The 7Project came to Millbrook on December 3. It encouraged young adults to find who they are and share their stories. The six major points were character, choices, self esteem, suicide, substance abuse, and tolerance. They left the last chapter for students to write to decide what they want their life to be like.
The 7Project volunteers were very enthusiastic and cared greatly about what they were speaking to the students about. On some subjects they were light-hearted with their dancing, poetry, and acting but on other topics they were serious.
All the decisions students make have an impact on everyday life, whether it is good or bad, there are consequences to every action. They taught student body that anyone can be a hero if they just believe in themselves.
Choices are very important. They showed students the harsh reality of making bad decisions and how depressing it can be to witness tragic events caused by poor actions.
There was an after party at Crossroads Community Church at 1147 Berryville Ave starting at 6:15 on December 3rd hosted by students. Free pizza and drinks were served and prizes were given away.
