Things to do in June

If anyone is not going anywhere this summer but wants something to do then keep reading. Here in Winchester there are many things that people can do during the month of June. For example, on June 13 the 154th Anniversary Event for Second Battle of Winchester will be held at the Kernstown Battlefield starting at 10:00am – 4:00pm.

On June 16, Friday Night Live will be held at Old Town starting at 5:00pm – 11:00pm. June 17 is a very busy day starting with the Outdoor Summer Movie Series that will be held at Clearbrook Park. If anyone is interested in seeing a play then go to the Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp that will be held at the Winchester Little Theatre. The play will be held from June 17- June 24. At 7:00pm, the Battlefield Series Program will be held at the National Park Service Visitor Contact Station.

From June 22- July 2 the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre: Oklahoma will be at the Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre. June 23- June 25 Art in the Barn is being held at Belle Grove Plantation. June 24 is when the Guided Walking Tour of Kernstown Battlefield. This event is being held at the Kernstown Battlefield. For more details on the events go to
