Walking In A Winter Wonderland
Walking In A Winter Wonderland is a light show with beautiful displays and music playing along the paved path at Clearbrook Park. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available to buy while at the park. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be found in a warm cabin where everyone is welcome to visit. This is a yearly light show that no one should miss.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy this experience. This beautiful attraction will be at Clearbrook Park located at 3300 Martinsburg Pike, Clearbrook, VA 22624. People will be able to visit from November 27 to January 3. They are open from 5:30-9:30 p.m. They will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. Tickets for people aged 12 and up are $12. Kids aged 2-11 are $3 and babies a year or younger are free. For groups of 10 or more, tickets are a dollar less.
“Christmas Around The World” Holiday Tours
“Christmas Around The World” is being held at the Belle Grove. The Manor House will be decorated and there will be a Christmas tree that will grace the historic Parlor. After the tour, relax with Bella Grove’s spiced teas and cookies made by the Winter Kitchen hearth. The Manor House is located at 336 Belle Grove Road, Middletown, VA 22645.
Belle Grove will be open December 4 to December 30, but will be closed December 24 and 25. Guided Tours of the house are offered Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m-4 p.m. Tours begin 15 min after each hour. Self-guided tours are offered Friday and Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday, 1-5 p.m. Admission fees apply.
Family Drive-In Theater
Santa Claus will be at the theater on Friday and Saturday nights, December 4 and 5. This will be the Family Drive-In’s last weekend for the year. This weekend is customer appreciation week, buy 1 child admission, get the second child admission for free. Some concession items will be on sale while supplies last. The theater is located at 5890 Valley Pike, Stephens City, Virginia 22655.
Movies that will be shown are The Good Dinosaur, Snoopy and Charlie Brown The Peanuts Movie, Love The Coopers, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.
5k Race & Frosty Kids Fun Run
Elite Race Management will be the official timer of the 4th Annual YDC Apple Capital Jingle Bell 5k. The race will benefit the Winchester Youth Development Center, and a portion of the proceeds will also benefit the Shenandoah University Track & Field program. The race will be on Saturday, December 19, 2015. The run will start and end at the Civil War Courthouse on Loudon Street in Old Town Winchester.
